Finding your ActiveCampaign URL & API Key
You will need your ActiveCampaign URL and API Key to connect ActiveCampaign and Zonka Feedback. To find, do as follows:
Click the 'Settings' option located in the left side navigation menu.
The Account Settings menu will appear. Click the 'Developer' option.
The Developer Settings page will load and will display your ActiveCampaign API URL and Key.
You can copy and paste this information.
Setting up the Zoom Integration with Zonka Feedback
Choose a Survey from Survey List View and head to the Integrations tab from the top navigation.
Click on 'Connect' in ActiveCampaign.
Next, you will see the ActiveCampaign Integrations Detail Page where you have to enter your ActiveCampaign account details — URL and API Key. Once done, click on 'Connect to ActiveCampaign'.
Your connection is established.
Create Contacts in ActiveCampaign
Once you have connected your ActiveCampaign and Zonka Feedback accounts, you can now set conditions to map Zonka Feedback Survey Response fields and create contacts there. Here's how.
Once you have Connected your ActiveCampaign account to your Zonka Feedback Account, go to Integrations within the Survey you'd like to set mapping.
Choose Settings to manage the ActiveCampaign account.
Enable the 'Crate a contact in ActiveCampaign' toggle.
Click on the 'Add Mapping' button to add a new mapping.
A popover will slide in from the right-hand side where you can add the conditions in which the Survey Response should get mapped to ActiveCampaign contacts. You can also choose which Survey Response fields should get mapped to which ActiveCampaign contact fields in this section.
To begin with, the mapping, give it a name in 'Mapping Name' which is user-friendly and which helps you easily identify the mapping.
Next, set conditions when this mapping should occur. With this integration, you can create a new contact and map the fields for a new response either every time or Only when.
Every time: For all the new responses collected for a survey, a new message gets generated.
Only When: This option allows you to set filters and rules to break down your survey results and focus on specific parts of your data and create a message based on it. You can have a combination of either 'All' or 'Any' conditions to set your criteria.
As the next steps, you can Map the Fields. Here all the questions of your Zonka Feedback Survey will be displayed on one side and corresponding to it the ActiveCampaign contact fields will be displayed. You can select the ActiveCampaign contact fields that you'd like to map. This means the data from Zonka Feedback Survey Response will get added to the corresponding ActiveCampaign contacts.
If you don't wish to map some fields, you can leave them blank.
Once done, click on 'Save' to save your Mapping Name, List, Conditions, and Mapping.
Your mapping will now be done and your ActiveCampaign will get auto-populated with the new Contacts and mapped fields as new Zonka Feedback Survey Responses start to come in.
Sync back responses in ActiveCampaign
Once you have enabled this toggle, all your survey responses would get created as a note in your ActiveCampaign contacts. You can sync your responses in the following ways,
Sync Score - Once you check this button, your overall survey's score gets synced which means you will have access to their scores for each survey they have participated in. The benefit of this would be that you don't have to toggle between Zonka and ActiveCampaign.
Sync all Responses - Once you check this button, a detailed list of all questions and their corresponding answers gets synced. This gives you a highlight of customer satisfaction rate and also you get to know why you have obtained the score. You're able to see the following information when you sync your Freshdesk and Zonka Feedback accounts.
CX Metrics (if being measured in the Survey): This includes NPS, CES, and CSAT Scores.
Survey Response with all Survey Questions and their corresponding Responses.
Embed a question in your ActiveCampaign Email
Knowing your customers is one best ways to know your brand's strengths. It is a very easy process to embed a question in your ActiveCampaign Email by enabling this toggle. To embed, follow these steps.
You will now have to select the Embed style. Know our multiple embedding styles from below,
- Question: The Survey Button on click will open the browser with the survey open for the contact.
- Button: The Question Embed will include the first question of the survey within the email itself, instead of the button.
- Hyperlink: You find a text, 'Give feedback for this ticket', which is hyperlinked. Clicking on this your survey will open in the browser.
You have the 'Preview' mode, take a quick look at your survey appearance to ensure that it is exactly what you want.
Click on the 'Code' and Copy this code and paste it into the email section of your HTML.
Once done, click on 'Save.'
You can add embedded surveys in your email campaign and understand your customer's satisfaction levels.
Removing ActiveCampaign Integration
Anytime you want to remove the ActiveCampaign Integration, you can do so easily. Here's how.
Go to Surveys > Integrations > ActiveCampaign
Scroll down to the bottom and click on the link 'Remove Integration'. The Integration would be removed.
You can connect your ActiveCampaign Account anytime later if you want to reconnect it.

Yes. You will notice that the Integrations tab is inside the Survey and not globally available in your Zonka Feedback interface.
