The Mobile Number question type allows you to capture respondents’ phone numbers in a validated format. This ensures accurate contact collection for follow-ups, SMS surveys, and integrations with CRMs or marketing tools.

Use Mobile Number when:

  • You want to send SMS surveys or notifications

  • You need phone numbers for contact records and segmentation

  • You’re collecting customer or employee details for identification

How to Add a Mobile Number Question

To add a Mobile Number field to your survey:

  • Go to the Survey Hub and select the survey you want to edit.

  • Navigate to the Build section.

  • From the Question Types Panel, choose Mobile Number under the Contact Information category.

  • Drag and drop the Mobile Number question type into your survey.

  • Click on the field to edit the label, for example: “Enter your phone number”


Customization options

  • Placeholder Text: Show hints like “+1 123 456 7890”

  • Validation: Accepts only numeric phone number formats

  • Country Code Input: Enable to collect numbers with country codes

  • Make Required: Prevent submission without a valid number

  • Captured numbers are added to the Contacts module

  • Use with SMS Surveys and automation workflows

  • Avoid in anonymous surveys unless necessary
