Image Capture Question in Zonka Feedback

The Image Capture question type allows survey respondents to take or upload a photo as part of their response. This is ideal for visual documentation, evidence collection, or gathering richer feedback during face-to-face, kiosk, or field surveys.

How to Add an Image Capture Question

To insert an Image Capture question into your Zonka Feedback survey:

  • Go to the Survey Hub and select the survey you'd like to edit.

  • Enter the Build section.

  • From the Question Types Panel, find and select Image Capture under the Input category.

  • Drag and drop the Image Capture question into your survey.

  • Click on the question to edit the label (e.g., "Upload a photo of the product received") and configure the settings.


Customization options

  • Question Label: Provide instructions (e.g., “Upload a photo of the product”)

  • Make it Required: Ensure submission only after an image is uploaded

  • Accept Input From:

    • Camera: Directly capture image using webcam or device camera

    • Gallery/File Upload: Choose from existing images

  • Apply Logic: Trigger follow-ups based on image upload or skip if skipped
