What is a Text Box question?

Where to use a Text Box question

  • When asking “What could we do better?” or “Tell us more about your experience.”

  • For collecting names, feedback, or explanations that can’t be captured in multiple-choice formats

  • To follow up on CX metric questions (like NPS, CSAT, CES) with “Why did you choose this score?”
