Zonka Feedback makes it simple to create, customize, and launch surveys using its intuitive Survey Builder. The Survey Builder allows you to design surveys, add different types of questions, apply branding, and set up logic to personalize the survey experience.

Whether you are creating a new survey or editing an existing one, the Survey Builder is where all the magic happens.

Accessing the Survey Builder

To view your Survey Builder, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to Survey Hub > Surveys from the left sidebar.

  • Choose the specific survey you would like to edit from the list of surveys.

  • After selecting your survey, click on Build from the top navigation.

This will open the Survey Builder where you can start editing or creating your survey.


Features of the Survey Builder

Inside the Survey Builder, you can:

  • Add different question types including NPS, CSAT, CES, multiple choice, text, rating scales, and more.

  • Apply skip logic and branching to personalize the survey journey for each respondent.

  • Customize the design with your logo, brand colors, fonts, and background images.

  • Add multiple pages and sections to structure longer surveys.

  • Insert thank-you screens or redirections after survey completion.


Adding Questions to Your Survey

  • Click on Add Question in the builder panel.

  • Choose the type of question you want to add (e.g., Rating, NPS, Dropdown, Text).

  • Edit the question text and answer options as required.

  • Reorder questions easily using drag-and-drop functionality.


Customizing the Survey Design

  • Go to the Design tab in the builder.

  • Add your company logo, change fonts, and apply custom brand colors.

  • Use background images or colors to match your survey with your brand identity.


Applying Logic and Personalization

  • Use Skip Logic to control the flow of your survey based on previous answers.

  • Add Display Logic to show or hide questions depending on responses.

  • Personalize questions with variables like the respondent’s name or company.


Previewing and Testing Your Survey

  • Click Preview in the top navigation to test your survey.

  • Check how the survey looks and functions across desktop, tablet, and mobile.

  • Make adjustments before sending the survey to your audience.
