What types of widgets are offered in Zonka Feedback?

In Zonka Feedback you can add multiple widgets with multiple intent surveys and forms onto your website

  1. Pop-up Survey - A survey which appears in a pop up on the screen when it's triggered.

  2. Pop Over - A survey which appears in a pop over when a button is clicked.

  3. Side Tab Survey - A survey which appears from the side of the screen when the button is clicked.

  4. Slide out Survey (Coming Soon) - A survey which slides out from the side bottom of the screen upon clicking of the action button.

  5. Bottom Bar Survey (Coming Soon) - A survey which slides out like bar from the bottom of the screen.

What are the prerequisites for setting up web survey widgets?

For setting up a fully functional website survey of types mentioned above, you need to have -

  1. A Zonka Feedback account - Any plan

  2. At least one intent specific survey with a suitable list of questions and options.

How to set up a survey widget in a website?

You can create a widget in two easy steps -

Step 1: Set up a widget

  • Go to 'Build and Distribute' of the survey.

  • Select 'Web' tab.

  • Select the widget type you want to setup.

  • Decide on the Appearance Settings of the widget.

  • Decide on the Targeting Settings of the widget.

  • Decide on the Behaviour Settings of the widget.

  • Save the settings

Step 2: Install the widget in your web pages

  • Select the 'Installation' tab in the left panel

  • Click on "Go to the Code" in the selected section. It will take you to the workspace web client.

  • Click on the 'Copy Code' Button.

  • Paste the code snippet in the <body> tag of your website.

  • Open your website to see the widget in action.

How to set up multiple survey widgets in a website?

Zonka Feedback allows to add three widgets - a pop up, a pop over and a side tab at any location with a single common code.

You can set up multiple widgets in the same web page this by

  1. Create a dedicated workspace for your website.

  2. Create the surveys you want to add in your web pages in this workspace. Or you can duplicate and move surveys from other workspaces to this one.

  3. Setup the widgets for these surveys - Popup, Side tab, Pop over. Note that only 1 pop up, 1 pop over and 1 side tab will work on the website.

  4. Finally install the workspace web client and open you website to see the widgets in action simultaneously.
